Guillermo Acosta is the Vice President of Plant Operations at URP, where he oversees all product manufacturing, equipment & facility maintenance, and supply chain.
Guillermo was born & raised in Matamoros, Mexico and completed his degree at the University of Valle Del Bravo in Electrical Mechanical Engineering. He is fluent in both Spanish and English. Guillermo came to Nashville to fulfill his lifelong dream of working in the music industry, a passion that began at his father’s turntable and at weekend serenatas.
Behind the scenes, Guillermo is a creator with his hands – whether as a carpenter of outdoor furniture or as a master in the kitchen cooking everything from Julia Child to authentic tacos to grilling like Bobby Flay. He is also a family man and is married to his high school sweetheart Margarita – together they have 3 wonderful kids: 2 daughters & 1 son, & 1 grandson.

- Most prized record in your collection? Queen’s Greatest Hits, although Michael Jackson’s Off the Wall was the first one he bought, and anything 60’s/70’s rock. He has also started building his vinyl jazz collection.
