Art Design & File Prep

We print the center labels, jackets, sleeves, and inserts for your order.

Artwork should be submitted to your account manager by email. If the art files are too large to send by email, upload to a service such as WeTransfer, Dropbox, Google Drive, etc. and provide us with the download link.

The terms jackets and sleeves frequently get interchanged, but it’s important to know the difference. Think of the jacket like the one you wear; it’s outerwear. The jacket is the outermost packaging of your record. The sleeves are inside the jacket and hold the record.

To keep your project on-track and to prevent delays, please submit your art along with your order form. Artwork should be placed on a separate layer in our provided templates with at least .1875” of bleed on all sides and in CMYK color mode. We recommend providing a PDF in addition to the art files.

We accept artwork in InDesign Document (.indd), Portable Document Format (.pdf), and Encapsulated PostScript (.eps) file formats.

If fonts and links are not embedded in your artwork, please provide these with your submission.

If your art includes Photoshop images, make sure these are set to 300 ppi and converted to CMYK color mode (not RGB).

If your artwork includes spot colors, these should be PANTONE (#) C, and colors should be named consistently in each file.
