Yes, our order minimums are as follows:
- 7” – 100 quantity per color
- 10” – 300 quantity per color
- 12” – 300 quantity per color
United Record Pressing has a 10% +/- policy, so your final order quantity may fall within 10% over or 10% under the quantity that was initially ordered.
We accept American Express, Mastercard, and VISA credit cards, as well as checks and ACH wire transfers.
Yes, you may! When you’re ready to place your re-order, contact us or your account manager. A 75% deposit may be required to get started.
Our turnaround times are ever-changing as they’re based on how many active orders are in the queue. Please contact us to discuss your project and our current estimated completion times.
We’re unable to press a single record. Vinyl record manufacturing requires a handful of steps before a record can be produced: lacquer mastering, silvering, electroplating, and test pressing. These steps alone are significant expenses and are not a practical way to press one disc.
For a single record, you may want to consider a studio that can do lathe cuts.
We accept orders without jackets; however, United Record Pressing is not responsible for any damages or quality issues that may occur in transit, including warping, scuffs, and scratches, due to lack of protection.
Orders without jackets are required to be inserted into inner sleeves.
United does not offer a “rush” option. We recommend discussing any deadlines and current turnaround times with your account manager before placing an order with us. We will do everything we can to get your records to you on time, but please keep in mind that due to the complicated and delicate nature of vinyl record manufacturing, the timelines we provide are always an estimation. We are unable to guarantee delivery dates.
Yes, we can. If you are originating an order from one of the countries listed below, United requires that you register your content with the corresponding performing rights organization for your country. For example, if you are in Australia, you would first need to register the work your label is reproducing with APRA. United then requires that you submit that licensing information to us before we can begin pressing your records.

Your deposit, or part of your deposit, may be refundable depending on where your order is in the process. If you’d like to cancel your order, please contact your account manager to confirm which steps have been taken with your project. Any cancelled order will have a $25 cancellation fee.

When you’re ready to place your order, a 75% deposit of your quoted order total may be required. We do not begin the vinyl manufacturing process until this deposit is received.
No, we currently do not have order statuses available online. Your account manager will provide updates on your order, and you are free to reach out to them with questions and concerns during the manufacturing process.
Once test pressings are approved and all components for your project have arrived, your order gets added to the schedule. An estimated ship date can be provided at that time from your account manager.
